How does it work?
Teeth whitening occurs when Hydrogen Peroxide is exposed to the dentine of the tooth (found directly under the teeth). Step by step guide
- Consultation to ensure you are suitable for teeth whitening, to explain the procedure and answer your questions
- Your tooth shade will be evaluated and recorded to compare to the new shade after treatment.
- A cheek retractor is placed in the mouth, vasaline applied to lips and glasses to protect eyes.
- Gingival Barrier is applied to the gums to protect them from the whitening gel.
- Each tooth is then covered with Hydrogen Peroxide gel.
- The Beyond laser light is then placed in front of your mouth for ten minutes and this step is repeated three times.
- Then the new shade is revealed and compared to the original shade.
- Advice on aftercare is given and you go home with a bright white smile!
